While looking for a soldier who once nearly penetrated Santiago's forces, a glitch in the Realm hurtles Hobbes and Pinnochio into a World War II combat simulation, in which American forces are pitted against German soldiers in a firefight over the bridge. They must find the jump-portal to escape the game, or else be destined to watch the battle scenario repeat over and over with the same outcome.
